REHEARSAL & PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS:
A full commitment to the following calendar and expectations:
Meet and greet with sing through full cast Tuesday October 15th 7:30pm to 9:30pm
As cast members will only be scheduled when needed, the artistic team will aim to have schedules available 2 weeks in advance. Please remember that a musical is a living, breathing entity. Things don’t always go exactly as planned, so changes to the plan will most likely be made throughout the rehearsal process. We promise to give you as much advance notice as possible on all changes that arise.

October 17th to November 14
Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:30pm-10:00pm
Sundays 6pm – 9pm
November 19 to December 19
Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00pm – 10pm.
Sundays 1pm – 5pm and 6pm – 9pm
Holiday Break (December 20 to January 1 inclusive)

TECH WEEK
Sitzprobe to be decided closer to the show opening …. Late January.
Tech and Dress rehearsals: January 31st 2025, February 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th
• Membership Fees of $100 + HST ($113.00) are due and payable within 14 days of casting and are non-refundable. (additional family members - fee is $60 + HST ($67.80))
• Signed agreement with KCP policies and Code of Conduct due at the second rehearsal.
AUDITION DETAILS
Auditions: Thursday September 19th, evening
Friday September 20 evening
Saturday September 21st daytime.
AUDITION FORM: The audition form will be live on Mon. August 19th.
To book your audition, please click the audition form Link. You will be sent a time to audition by email from our stage manager.
All Primary Role auditions will include group choreo. The session will be 75 minutes and you must remain for that whole time to work with others.
Ensemble auditions will be 90 minutes and you must remain for that whole time to work with others.
CALL BACKS: Callbacks will be Saturday Sept 28th 9a.m.

You will be notified by email by the end of day Saturday September 21st if you are being called back.
There will be callback materials posted in advance on our website. You are expected to learn what is posted prior to attending your callback audition.
Please note that not receiving a message about a callback does not mean you won't be cast in the show. Additionally, a callback does not guarantee a role in the production.
All auditions will take place at the KCP Unit, #12, 481 Welham Road, Barrie.
PRIMARY ROLE AUDITIONEES: The song you choose to sing for your audition is very important. Please prepare 2-2 ½ minutes of a musical theatre song that demonstrates your vocal abilities at your highest performance level and matches the character you are auditioning for. The song should demonstrate your range capabilities, the quality of your voice and your vocal prowess as well as your acting abilities.
There will NOT be an accompanist available for Primary Role auditionees.
You may perform with an instrumental backing track as long as it has no lead vocals on it on a device (a speaker will be available) You are free to bring an accompanist as the keyboard will be available. Choose a method that will give you the results you are looking for. Please do not sing a cappella.
DANCE AUDITION PRIMARY AND ENSEMBLE
The dance portion of auditions will take place in a workshop format. You will be
learning a short dance combination that you will present in small groups. Please wear
comfortable clothing and shoes. Also, please make us aware, in advance, if you have any injuries or other physical limitations.
ENSEMBLE AUDITIONEES: Your audition will be in a workshop style format. You will learn and perform both music and choreography with your group. The music director will pick a section of one of the show ensemble songs and the Stage Manager will send you the name of that song when she confirms your audition time.
