CAST INFOMATION
The play is set in the early 2000s and takes place at a posh hotel room on the day of Rachel & Bill's wedding.

RACHEL (The Bride, female-identifying) - 20s-30s - a focused and lovely posh Bridezilla. She's not a terrible person. It is her big day after all.
BILL (The Groom, male-identifying) - 20s-30s - an affable, average posh bloke who had a few too many drinks at his stag and may have made a huge mistake.
TOM (The Best Man, male-identifying) - 20s-30s - a confident, sporty posh bloke, bit of a ladies man. Anything for a friend.
JUDY (female-identifying) - 20s-30s - a lovely manic-pixie type who you instantly take a shine towards when you see her. Seems quite posh.
JULIE (A Chamber-maid, female-identifying) - 20s-30s - working-class, plucky, maybe a bit rough around the edges, but agreeable to a fault.
DAPHNE (The Bride’s Mother, female-identifying) - 50s-60s - fabulously posh and exhausted with everything, especially her husband.
PREPARATION INFORMATON

Auditions will consist of cold readings of selected sides from the script and some very basic improv exercises to warm up. No previous improv experience required.

PLEASE NOTE: This will be a positive, respectful and safe rehearsal environment and we encourage everyone from any background or experience to come and audition. The play is set in the United Kingdom, and while English accents are not a requirement for the audition, be prepared to learn one for the show. Actors will be required to be at most, if not all rehearsals, as this is an ensemble comedy that depends on timing. New actors and seasoned thespians are both welcome. Actors cast will be expected to be off-book before blocking rehearsals begin.

SYNOPSIS

An appalling situation. A bridegroom wakes on his wedding morning in his own bridal suite, with his bride-to-be about to arrive any moment, and finds a strange girl in bed beside him. What's more an extremely attractive girl whom, in the depths of his post stag-night hangover, he can't remotely remember even having been introduced to. Worse - during the ensuing panic to get the stranger dressed and out of the way, the bride arrives and the girl is trapped in the bathroom. The only way out of the dilemma is to persuade the best man to pretend that the hidden girl is his girl friend. Then the problem is that the best man’s real girl friend has to be kept ignorant of the fact. By the time the bride's parents and half the hotel staff get in on the act, the chaos reaches nuclear proportions!
